SPC, a British manufacturer of heating and cooling coils, fan convectors, trench heaters, radiant panels and heat pipes, have supplied Metropolitan trench heaters to the National Memorial Arboretum centre.
Based in Staffordshire on the edge of the National Forest, it covers 150 acres of ground and contains 300 memorial pieces, 30,000 trees and an exhibition centre. It is the UKs year round centre of remembrance for the armed forces, police, fire, rescue and ambulance services and national charities representing special circumstances.
SPC were approached to provide their Metropolitan trench heaters to the spacious restaurant area where floor to ceiling windows were installed. The use of trench ensured a reduction in glazing losses and enhanced comfort for the diners.
Jeremy Davies, Trench Product Manager for SPC said;
“SPC Metropolitan trench heaters perfectly accompanied the bright modern architectural feel that was created in the new restaurant”.
“We have received excellent feedback from our clients on our line of trench; specifically the quality of the product and flexibility that we are able to offer due to our onsite design and manufacturing facilities. If our standard trench range doesn’t match the clients needs then we will always look at how we can create a bespoke solution”.
SPC Metropolitan trench heaters are available in both natural and powered units. For more information visit the new SPC website spc-hvac.co.uk or call the sales team 0116 249 0044.
